NO Series Plates : Contemporary Conversations. Porcelain plates, 10 3/4" diameter, with black and white decals made from 2-dimensional ink drawings by the artist from her NO Series drawings, NO, NOT, NOPE, NO-NO. They are kiln-fired onto the plates. Installation of a group of plates may be in a corner in concentric circles, or on a wall in different configurations. A corner installation would have NO plates in the center, with plates of a different text on either side that mirror one another to provide an echo across the corner. The plates symbolize a dialogue between the opposing half circle, or when on a wall, simply a dialogue among themselves and the observer.
NO Series Cups : Unpleasant Conversations. White porcelain cups, 3" high by 4" diameter, with black and white decals made from 2-dimensional ink drawings by the artist from her NO Series drawings, NO, NOT, NOPE, NO-NO, that are kiln-fired onto the cups. They are installed in disarray on the black table to represent unpleasantness.
